Audio Digitisation
We offer on site digitisation for your analogue reel to reel and audio cassette archive. With our portable digital transfer work stations, we carefully transcribe your recordings into digital format. On completion of the project you will receive digital preservation master files as well as service files at CD quality and MP3 files for Internet use etc. The service files will have basic audio restoration applied as standard.
We work to IASA standards. The digital recordings are to the International Archive Standard of 96 kHz 24 bit WAV.
As part of the on site digitisation process, we can photograph all boxes, labels, spools etc. and supply them as an associated file. An "Excel" file can also be supplied with metadata agreed in advance.
